I know the information aroung here lately has been very sparse. I appologize for that. I have not yet found a good file download software that is secure enough to use on this site, so the download section is still not up. It's been a year since I said it was comming... sorry. I'll make it up to you.
Also, the current Vegadark project is on indefinate hold. It was to be called 'Through Opened Eyes' and was to be a complete album. Unfortunately, I have gotten involved with several other projects and will not be finishing it anytime soon.
I do have some good news though - I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance...
Actually the good news is that I am offering 4 of the completed tracks for download.
I may offer some of the multitrack files up for remix in the future, so if you are interested, keep checking back for updates. I might make an EP of the originals and remixes for public consumption based on interest and time.

Sorry for the lack of news around here lately.
In terms of non music news, I hope you went out and voted this last election. It was very important for the direction our country is heading. I personally voted completely democratic. Although I am not a "democrat" or a "republican", I felt the country needed a new direction.
In terms of news around here, 4 songs are completed with a few more on the way. Personal situations and public interest (Iraq war, ect...) are topics written about so far and seem to be the feel for the album.
Alot of things happening are keeping me from moving forward with the project, including personal obligations and professional obligations as well. I am now working with the band Silview producing their demo CD and most likely the debut CD later on. I am also working with Autumn Attic Records for other recording and producing projects. On top of that, I am taking drum lessons once a week while keeping my relationsip with my girlfriend steady and unproblematic. So, as you can see, my schedule is quite hectic. I do promise though, that Vegadark will be in the studio quite soon working on the new album once again.

I'm not really good at talking about topics like this, so it will be short. A day like today is difficult to get through, more so for some of us than others. As you see images on TV or hear clips on the radio, keep in mind the horror so many people went through 5 years ago. Keep in mind that there are people that still go through those horrors today and will again for the rest of their lives. Remember the brave ones that died trying to save others without ever even thinking of themselves. Think of the broken families, and the ones that disappeared altogether.
There are alot of things to think about today, and really everyday. We should all have a heavy heart.
